Workcom provides home ADL assessments for people having difficulty managing certain functions in the home, or achieving independence in Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
The aim of our home and ADL Functional Assessments are:
- To assist a person return home from Hospital, allowing safe management of ADL’s, ensuring they are able to meet their basic needs either with external assistance, or with the help of aids and modifications
- To determine a person’s capacity to safely complete activities of daily living and determine the level of assistance required
- To recommend aids and assistance required during the initial stages of recovery from injury, illness or surgery, to allow an individual to focus on their physical rehabilitation program
- To arrange for permanent home modifications in the situation where a person’s disability is permanent.
