Workcom provides occupational therapy medico legal assessments to determine the impact of an injury on a person’s life, including activities at home, work and leisure. The Activities of Daily Living assessment identifies a person’s level of independence, and their ability to return to any form of work or home activities. These assessments take place in the person’s home or workplace, and recommendations offer information pertaining to the person’s level of independence, as well as possible equipment or training solutions to maximise function.
In addition to completing Activities of Daily Living Assessments, Workcom has a team of Vocational Consultants who are highly experienced in completing Employability Assessments. Our team of Rehabilitation Counselors and Registered Psychologists keeps up to date with the latest case law and we work very closely with a number of Life Insurers to develop Employability Assessments that are tailored to the specific needs of each Insurer.
